Upholstery

I've been taking Upholstery classes on Wednesday nights through CIT. I love chatting with other students and the smell of the woodwork studio. I'm working on covering a chair with my 'Red-backed & Wattle' design. My chair will contain 9 layers of different material by the time it's finished including jute webbing, coconut fibre, calico, and cotton lintus!

Above: My chair's back gets covered first.

Below: Margaret, a classmate, has bought some of my 'Lino-cut Blueberry Ash' fabric and is covering two darling chairs.
