I love a good excuse to visit Melbourne and now that Formosa is going to be at next month's Finders Keepers market, I have a good one. Skinny laMinx

Skinny laMinx is one of my favourite contemporary textile designers. I first came upon her work while visiting my cousin in Cape Town, South Africa a couple of years ago. She had a stall at the superbly artsy 'Old Biscuit Mill' Saturday markets (bottom photos). You'll see below that as well as textile design she does these really beautiful and intricate cut-outs.
